Privacy Policy

JitAI (“JitAI”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at jitai.app. This policy explains what personal data the website collects, why, and what your rights are. For anything privacy-related, email hello@jitai.app.

The website collects very little, and only what you give us:

• Waitlist signup.If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, whether you ticked the “I’d try a hands-on early version” box, and the time you signed up. That is the complete record.
• Email you send us. If you write to hello@jitai.app, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
• Server logs. Like almost every website, the infrastructure that serves this site (Google Cloud) keeps standard request logs, which can include IP addresses. We use these only for security and debugging, not to profile visitors.

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we do not set tracking cookies. We never ask for your name, location, or anything beyond the items above.

We use your email address for exactly two things:

• to invite you to JitAI when early access is ready, and
• to send occasional updates about the product’s progress.

Every email we send includes a way to opt out. We do not sell or rent your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train any model — ours or anyone else’s.

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your email address on the basis of your consent — you gave it to us for the purpose of hearing about JitAI, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.

Waitlist entries are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, and the site is served by Firebase Hosting and Google Cloud Run, currently in the United States (us-central1). Google acts as our processor under its Cloud Data Processing Addendum, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers. No other third party has access to the waitlist.

We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to delete it, until you opt out, or until the waitlist has served its purpose — whichever comes first. When the waitlist winds down, we delete entries that did not convert into accounts. Server logs are retained for the short default periods set by Google Cloud and then deleted automatically.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or export it. Depending on where you live, these rights may be backed by law (such as the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California); we honor them for everyone regardless.

One email to hello@jitai.app is enough — there is no form to fill in. We will respond within 30 days, and usually much sooner. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we will delete the entry.

If what we collect or how we use it changes — for example, when the product itself launches — we will update this policy and its effective date, and notify the waitlist by email before any material change takes effect.
